A JAX Talk by Dina Scippa
Tuesday’s JAX Talk with Dina Scippa, Founder and CEO of Enough Labs, challenged us to rethink what confident leadership actually looks like.
Unapologetic leadership isn’t about being brash or aggressive. It’s about alignment with your own knowledge and intuition.
The exhaustion so many leaders feel isn’t from leadership itself. It’s from performing acceptability, from negotiating our authority, from the constant calculation of what’s safe to say and who we need to manage before we decide.

Here are three questions Dina offers to take a step toward unapologetic leadership:
- Where am I more concerned with being received well than being aligned?
- What would I stop explaining if alignment, not approval, were my standard?
- Where am I waiting for reassurance before acting on what I already know?
The work begins with recognizing these patterns in real time, then consciously changing the knee-jerk reaction to apologize, soften, or wait for permission.
